soft as the mountains is an artist studio run by Michael Baja Anderson, a queer Filipino-American artist based in Chicago, IL. Inspired by faded memories, blurry dreams, and his everchanging environmennt, Anderson uses fiber, collage, and interdisciplinary practices to explore themes of identity, sexuality, and connection bending towards radical softness.
